6 Reasons to Buy Jewellery Online

Why you should buy jewellery online

1. Saving Money

A regular bricks and mortar retail store has very high overheads.  They need to pay for the rent, staff, the interior of the store etc and these costs are passed on to you.

When buying online you can get the same quality of items (even better) than what you would get from a physical store and you do not have to pay for this.

Therefore you get much higher quality for a fraction of the price.

2. Guaranteed Protection when buying Online

10 years ago buying online was no where near as common as it is today. Since then the online market place has evolved tremendously in order to protect the customer, ie you.

As a customer buying online there are so many protections in place that you will be 100% assured to receive what you pay for.  PayPal is one example which has become one of the most common ways for people to purchases online due to the protection to consumers to get exactly what they pay for, or their money back.

3. Accountability of Online Reviews

Online reviews also hold sellers extremely accountable.  A good online seller will have great online reviews and a good online reputation.  As a buyer it is extremely easy to research a sellers reviews.

Conversely for companies that rely on foot traffic such as Tiffany & Co. or Louis Vuitton they could have 100 negative reviews online but because most of their traffic comes from people wandering by their stores, that is how they get sales.

When selling online positive reviews are extremely important so you when people are buying online you are buying from people who are being held very accountable for their reputation.

4. Accountability of Social Feedback

A popular online business is likely to have some form of social media presence. Although this is great for the company it also means they are very exposed to the public.  Imagine if you imagine a store such as Pandora.  They could have 10 irate customers a day, but you would never hear about it.  If someone on social media just has one irate customer, you will hear about it.

5. Convenience

You can sit in your PJs all day, buy something and have it delivered to your door. You canalso have a gift arranged for a loved one delivered to their door in 48 hours all while having a cup of coffee.

If you are a busy person, working full time, looking after young children, managing the household etc, a whole day spent shopping is likely not on the agenda.  Also it can take the whole day to visit 10 stores and still not find what you were looking for.  Shopping online you can browse hundreds of items and find the perfect thing you were looking for.

l also think, in this day of digital email, where people no longer get sent hand written letters (something I really miss personally!) if you can remember to buy a gift for a friend for their birthday or remember to get something for mothers day or anything like that, you will make that persons year. It's simple and easy and a really special thing to do.

6. Supporting a small business

If you come across a small business that has great reviews you are going to be getting that perfect balance of quality, customer service and a low price.

When a business is starting out, you get high quality for less, particularly if their reviews indicate this.

There is also a saying, every time you support a small business, someone does a happy dance.
