Tiffany & Co Solid 18k Yellow Gold 1837 Padlock Pendant / Charm Opens & Closes

Beautiful and rare to find Vintage 1837 Tiffany & Co. Solid 18ct Yellow Gold Padlock / Charm / Necklace. This rare to find piece weighs an impressive 10.3gms. The charm is heavy and thick and measures 19.3cm x 14.6cm x 5.4cm. A lot of the size is in the thickness of the piece so please take note of the measurements as photos are close up. This piece has been professionally buffed and polished and is in excellent condition.

The lock opens and closes with a spring lock and can be used to as a pendant on a chain, or even used as a clasp to hold a bracelet together.

This piece is no longer available at Tiffany & Co. and difficult to find pre-loved. It is an absolutely delightful piece.

The charm is hallmarked Tiffany & Co. 750 on the base and also 750, T & Co. and 1837 on the front.

A simple necklace from the 1837 line retails from Tiffany for well over $6000.

We found a pre loved piece on eBay asking for $2800.
